HS BASKETBALL REPORT: Schneider, Washburn combine for 46 points to power Honeoye past East Rochester; Midlakes girls earn first win

The third week of the Wayne-Finger Lakes high school basketball season got underway Monday night with a 13-game slate, highlighted by a boys’ matchup between undefeated Honeoye and East Rochester. The Bulldogs maintained control throughout in a 10-point victory, led by Braiden Schneider’s 25 points and 21 from Landon Washburn to move to 4-0. On the girls side, Midlakes secured its first victory of the season with a five-point win over Geneva.
