After losing the 2025 NYC mayoral race, Andrew Cuomo is pointing fingers at Curtis Sliwa for splitting the vote, according to WSTM.
Cuomo, who ran as an independent after losing the Democratic primary to Zohran Mamdani, claims he would’ve had a better shot without Sliwa in the race. But vote totals show Mamdani still would’ve won, even if Cuomo had absorbed Sliwa’s support.
Despite GOP efforts to clear the field for Cuomo, Mamdani’s upset win held strong.
