Police arrested a Bath resident following a traffic stop in the village that led to a drug possession charge.
Jason Barker, 42, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers found methamphetamine in his vehicle.
The stop occurred at about 7:42 a.m. on March 24 near May Street and East William Street Extension.
Officers said the vehicle was stopped after a traffic violation, and an investigation led to the discovery of the drugs.
Barker was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Bath Village Court at a later date.
