A theft at a Geneva Walmart led to an arrest in Seneca Falls after police found the stolen items inside a suspect’s vehicle.
Seneca Falls Police arrested 67-year-old Andrew C. Teneyck on Nov. 22 after locating a car that matched the description given by store employees.
Officers found the stolen merchandise inside the vehicle and determined that Teneyck had been the one driving it during the theft.
He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
Teneyck was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
