Dansville leaders may close the town’s airport unless they raise taxes to cover rising costs, according to News10NBC.
Town Supervisor Gregery Horr said the airport already loses money — and looming capital expenses will make it worse. He plans to ask elected officials if shutting it down is even an option, though no final decision’s been made.
Tensions are also flaring with LMC Industrial Contractors, whose cranes are interfering with the runway’s flight path. The company has six months to stop. Meanwhile, pilots argue the airport is vital for regional growth.
