The City of Auburn is inviting residents, local organizations, and community stakeholders to take part in a public meeting and hearing on the upcoming 2026–2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 24 South Street.
This is a key opportunity for the public to help shape how federal funds are used to benefit low- and moderate-income neighborhoods in Auburn. The city is seeking input on how to prioritize projects that could include housing, infrastructure improvements, public services, and other community needs.
The CDBG program, managed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), plays a critical role in funding local development efforts. To qualify, all projects must meet federal guidelines and demonstrate measurable benefits to eligible populations.
Residents and organizations interested in learning more or providing feedback are encouraged to attend. For questions, email [email protected].
