The Mustangs struck first with under eight minutes remaining in the first half when Mukisa Emmanuel scored. SMU extended its advantage just before halftime as Ryan Clanton-Pimentel found the back of the net. The Mustangs dominated the second half, adding three more goals to secure a decisive victory.
SMU moves on to face top-seeded Virginia in the ACC Championship game on Sunday.
