Yankees’ Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm Jr. win 2025 American League Silver Slugger Awards

The New York Yankees had a strong showing in MLB’s offseason awards as Aaron Judge and Jazz Chisholm Jr. were honored with American League Silver Slugger Awards on Friday.

Judge earned his fifth Silver Slugger after a remarkable 2025 campaign. The reigning AL MVP led the league with a .331 batting average and posted a .457 on-base percentage, a .688 slugging mark, and a 1.144 OPS. He also clubbed 53 home runs and drove in 114 runs. Judge’s previous Silver Slugger wins in 2022 and 2024 coincided with MVP honors. This year, he claimed the outfield award over a competitive group that included Julio Rodríguez, George Springer, Riley Greene, and teammate Cody Bellinger, joining Byron Buxton and Greene as this season’s AL outfield winners.

Meanwhile, Chisholm Jr. captured his first Silver Slugger after an impressive 2025 season, hitting .242/.332/.481 with 31 home runs, 80 RBI, and 31 stolen bases, joining the exclusive Yankees 30-30 club. He edged out Brandon Lowe and Jorge Polanco for the award.

Also, the Yankees collectively were nominated for the team Silver Slugger, surpassing both the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays.
