An 18-year-old was found guilty of murder after fatally shooting a man at his own birthday party in Elmira, according to WETM.
Michael W. Williams shot 21-year-old J’Sean Williams five times at close range during a party on Richard Street in November 2024. Prosecutors said he fled in a car.
A Chemung County jury also convicted him on two weapons charges. Sentencing is set for Dec. 15, with a possible maximum of 25 years to life.
