Republican incumbent Jared Simpson and Democrat Don Cotter are vying for Canandaigua town supervisor.
Simpson, elected in 2021, touts his leadership in preserving farmland, improving zoning, and securing infrastructure grants. Cotter, a local business owner, pledges more transparency and long-term planning. Both propose strategies to protect Canandaigua Lake — Simpson through watershed projects, Cotter with a “Seven C’s” plan.
Early voting starts Oct. 25. Election Day is Nov. 4.
