A Bath man is facing charges after allegedly fleeing from police on an electric bike earlier this week.
According to the Bath Police Department, officers spotted Mark C. Burke, 63, around 2:25 p.m. on October 21. Burke was wanted in connection with a previous complaint.
When officers tried to speak with him, he took off on an E-bike. Police caught up with him a short time later and took him into custody.
Burke was charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
He was processed and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Bath Village Court at a later date.
