Yates County has announced a proposed 3.12% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal for upcoming FAA-funded contracts spanning federal fiscal years 2026 through 2028 — and officials want the public’s feedback.
The county will host a virtual meeting on October 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to consult with stakeholders and gather input on the goal-setting process. Interested participants should contact Cassie Schwalm at [email protected] for meeting access details.
Of the 3.12% overall goal, the county projects 0% will come from race-neutral (RN) measures and 3.12% through race-conscious (RC) efforts.
Public comments on the proposed goal will be accepted for 30 days from the date of the announcement.
