Seneca County Water-Sewer Authority holds special meeting on leadership matters

The Seneca County Water-Sewer Authority Board of Directors held a special meeting on October 9 to discuss potential personnel decisions during a brief executive session.

The meeting took place at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room at the County Office Building. Board Chair Robert Carroll called the meeting to order, with a focus on matters that fall under Section 105(1)(f) of New York State Public Officers Law — specifically, “matters leading to the appointment of a particular person or corporation.”

While details discussed in executive session were not made public, the session suggests that leadership appointments or contracts may be under consideration by the board.

Following the closed session, board members and staff discussed additional business and reviewed next steps.

Consultant Matt Horn from the MRB Group wrapped up the meeting by outlining tasks to be completed before the board’s next scheduled meeting on October 23.
