Waterloo man arrested on Ontario County warrant

A 21-year-old Waterloo resident was taken into custody early Friday morning after police discovered he had an active arrest warrant out of Ontario County.

John C. Walker II was first detained by the Waterloo Police Department during a separate incident. Officers learned of the outstanding warrant and notified Ontario County deputies, who arrested Walker around 12:23 a.m. at 353 Waterloo Geneva Road.

Deputies transported Walker to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment. Details about the original charges behind the warrant were not released.
