According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Mary R. Lowe of Le Roy was heading north on Route 5 & 20 when she attempted a left-hand turn. Deputies say she made a wide turn, left the roadway, hit several political signs, and crashed into a utility pole.

Lowe suffered minor injuries and was transported to Thompson Hospital. RG&E was called to repair the damaged pole.

She was issued a ticket for making an improper left-hand turn on a two-way roadway. The Cheshire Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad also responded to the scene.
