A man fled on foot after causing a four-car crash that sent two people to the hospital in Sayre, according to WETM. Police later arrested 24-year-old Noah Tappan-Bright on multiple charges, including felonies for leaving the scene without a license.
The crash happened Sept. 5 at a busy intersection. Witnesses say Tappan-Bright sped through a stop sign. Officers later found his car reeking of marijuana and learned he had no valid license in either New York or Pennsylvania.
He admitted over the phone he left to get his grandmother — whose car he was driving — but refused to meet police in person.
