Deputies arrested a Lyons man early Tuesday morning after spotting him at a business in Palmyra — weeks after he allegedly damaged a car during a domestic dispute in front of a child.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Terrance Freeman was taken into custody around 3:20 a.m. without incident.
Freeman was wanted on charges of criminal mischief in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to investigators, Freeman argued with the victim while they were inside a vehicle. He allegedly punched the car window several times before kicking the door and causing damage. A child under the age of 17 witnessed the incident, deputies said.
Freeman fled the scene before deputies arrived, prompting an arrest warrant. He was later found at a local establishment in Palmyra.
He was arraigned Tuesday morning. Prosecutors requested that bail or bond be denied.
