People living with lung disease will get a chance to connect, learn, and breathe easier during a free support group next month in Canandaigua.
UR Medicine Thompson Health will host the meeting on Friday, Oct. 10, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the George M. Ewing Jr. Conference Room at the Constellation Center for Health and Healing, located at the back of Thompson Hospital on Parrish Street.
The Thompson Better Breathers group is designed for individuals with breathing challenges who want to improve their quality of life. The session includes discussion, education, and helpful behavior tips. Gerald Dilgard, a respiratory therapist with Thompson Health, will lead the conversation.
Anyone can attend, and there’s no cost.
