A lucky Powerball player in Brockport just scored a $50,000 payday.
The New York Lottery announced that a third-prize-winning ticket for the September 20 Powerball drawing was sold at Walmart Supercenter #1993, located at 6265 Brockport Spencerport Road.
The ticket matched four white balls and the red Powerball — a combination worth $50,000.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with numbers drawn from two separate pools: one from 1 to 69 and another from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
The New York Lottery remains the most profitable in North America, contributing $3.6 billion to public education during the 2024–25 fiscal year.
