People heading to the new Rochester Regional Health campus in Geneva now have a smoother ride — thanks to expanded service from RTS Ontario.
As of Sept. 15, Regional Transit Service has added 14 weekday stops to its Routes 254 and 261, giving riders in Ontario County direct access to the new facility.
Partnership focuses on healthcare access

The changes come through a partnership with Rochester Regional Health, which is subsidizing the expanded routes to make the service possible.
“Improving access to critical health care services is a significant need and a common request,” said RTS CEO Miguel Velázquez. “I very much appreciate Rochester Regional for stepping up.”
RRH says the Geneva site will serve not just the city but also neighboring towns. “We will be offering patient services to Geneva and surrounding towns,” said Jerome Scott, a senior administrator at Rochester Regional.
