State Police arrested a 37-year-old Ogdensburg man this week after he allegedly made violent threats during a phone call, authorities said.
Lucas K. Northrup was taken into custody on September 10 and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment.
The arrest followed a complaint received the night before. Troopers responded around 8 p.m. on September 9 to State Route 420 in the town of Norfolk, where the victim reported that Northrup had called and threatened their life.
Troopers attempted to locate Northrup that evening but were unsuccessful. They found him the next day and brought him to the State Police barracks in Massena for processing.
Northrup was arraigned in the Town of Norfolk Court and released on his own recognizance.
