Palmyra’s American Legion Post 120 will honor local service members at its fourth annual Hometown Heroes tree-lighting ceremony on Dec. 20, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The event begins at 5 p.m. at 128 Cuyler St. and invites the public to celebrate veterans past and present.
Ornaments will represent each military branch, combat era, and medals of valor, with community members also placing personalized ornaments. Photo submissions are due by Nov. 22.
