A Canandaigua man is facing a criminal contempt charge after allegedly threatening someone who had an active order of protection against him.
Police say 65-year-old Christopher J. Ladelfa was arrested around 3:48 p.m. on August 28 after officers responded to a disturbance at a Midlakes Drive address.
An investigation revealed that Ladelfa made threats toward the protected individual, violating the court order. He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held on $1,000 bail.
