Two suspects in the torture and killing of Sam Nordquist returned to Ontario County Court Tuesday for hearings on whether their police statements can be used at trial, according to WROC.
The first hearing involved Precious Arzuaga, the woman Nordquist traveled to New York to see. Prosecutors presented bodycam footage and testimony from investigators. A second hearing followed for Kimberly Sochia, one of the last suspects arrested.
Seven people face charges in the February murder. More hearings are expected in the coming weeks.
