Deputies say a Farmington woman was arrested Monday after she failed to return a rented U-Haul truck.
Jamie Papa, 38, was taken into custody around 11:51 a.m. at the Tops plaza on Route 96 in Farmington, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest followed a complaint from U-Haul, which reported that Papa didn’t return the vehicle as required by the lease agreement. Deputies say she was arrested without incident and brought to the sheriff’s substation at Eastview Mall for processing.
She’s due back in Town of Victor Court on September 9 to answer the charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
