Gunfire erupted inside a crowded Brooklyn nightclub early Sunday, killing three people and wounding nine others, according to the Associated Press.
Police say a dispute led up to the 3:30 a.m. shooting at Taste of the City Lounge in Crown Heights. Up to four shooters are suspected, and investigators found 42 shell casings nearby. No arrests have been made.
Officials believe the shooting was gang-related. Mayor Eric Adams called it a tragic outlier in what’s been a year of record-low gun violence in New York City.
