A June traffic stop in Aurelius later revealed the vehicle was stolen, leading to a felony arrest last week.
Calob B. Paige, 20, was taken into custody Aug. 5 on a charge of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Deputies stopped a pickup truck on Beech Tree Road late June 10 and released Paige with traffic tickets. Days later, the truck’s owners learned it had been stolen and involved in a crash.
Paige was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
