Lyons man breaks into ex’s home, resists arrest after hospital visit

Deputies say a Lyons man broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home while drunk and in front of children, then resisted arrest after a hospital visit.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Dante Gile entered the Church Street residence without permission during a domestic incident. Deputies allege he physically obstructed their investigation before being taken to the hospital for injuries related to the incident.

After he was released from the hospital, deputies told Gile he was under arrest. They say he physically resisted before being taken into custody.

Gile is charged with second-degree criminal trespass, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. He’s due in Lyons Town Court on Aug. 9 at 7 p.m.
