Fire crews responded early Saturday morning to a burning sedan on Lighthouse Hill Road in Cortlandville, according to CNY Central. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived just after midnight.
The blaze was quickly brought under control and did not spread beyond the car. No injuries were reported. The Cortlandville Fire Department was assisted at the scene by New York State Police and Ron’s Towing.
Authorities have not released details on what caused the fire, but the swift response ensured no further damage occurred.
