New polling shows President Trump’s approval ratings are slipping as he reaches the halfway point of his first year back in office, according to a roundup by New York Connect. A Gallup poll gave him his lowest score yet: just 37% approval and 59% disapproval.
Across 12 national surveys released in late July, Trump’s favorability ranged between 37% and 48%, with most putting disapproval in the low to mid-50s. Top public concerns included inflation, jobs, and health care. Rasmussen recorded the highest “strongly disapprove” number at 43%.
Trump’s current ratings trail those of past presidents at similar points, including Obama, Reagan, and even Clinton, signaling continued division and growing dissatisfaction among voters.
