Families visiting Canandaigua’s inclusive playground will now be able to enjoy local food favorites as The Company Store begins food service at Motion Junction.
Starting Friday, August 1, the Cheshire-based store will offer a rotating menu of fresh, locally made items at Richard P. Outhouse Memorial Park on Outhouse Road. Service will run Thursdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., through November 1, weather permitting.
For over four decades, The Company Store has served the Cheshire community with homemade pizza, baked goods, deli items, and groceries. Since taking ownership in 2018, Benjamin and Khrystin have grown the shop into a regional staple while preserving its small-town charm. That same spirit will now greet visitors at Motion Junction — with daily menus for families and catering available for pavilion reservations.

To mark the launch, free popcorn will be handed out during the first week of service.
“We couldn’t be happier to see two great Town of Canandaigua treasures come together — Motion Junction and The Company Store,” said Town Supervisor Jared Simpson. “This partnership adds even more reason for families to spend the day at the playground, enjoying great food and great fun in our beautiful park.”
Benjamin and Khrystin credited their staff for helping make the expansion possible. “We are beyond excited to bring the passion, kindness and welcoming environment of our main location to a new space and a new generation of Company Store fans,” they said.
Motion Junction opened on June 18, 2022, and has since become a regional destination for accessible and inclusive recreation.
