The Seneca Falls Library has been awarded a $60,000 grant from the Bonafiglia Family Foundation to enhance its programming and resources over the next three years.
The funds will be distributed in annual installments of $20,000 and are aimed at strengthening the library’s impact in the community. In the first year, the grant will support upgrades for children’s computer workstations and improvements to the annual Summer Reading Program, which helps prevent learning loss during school breaks.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Bonafiglia Family Foundation for their belief in the library’s mission and their generous investment in our community,” said Library Director Jenny Burnett. “This grant allows us to make immediate, tangible improvements, particularly for our youngest patrons.”

The funding will boost digital literacy and learning engagement among local children while laying the groundwork for additional upgrades in future years.
“Their style of leadership and organizational efforts are an example of what needs to transpire to do good for our local youth and residents,” said Judy Wentzel, Executive Director of the Bonafiglia Family Foundation.
As a key resource in the community, the Seneca Falls Library continues to offer free access to technology, information, and programming for all ages. Residents are encouraged to visit SenecaFallsLibrary.org and follow the library on social media for updates.
