A stretch of Wayne County communities along the Erie Canal will once again turn into a treasure hunter’s paradise when Newark, Lyons, Clyde and Savannah host the “Treasures Along the Erie” community garage sale on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Dozens of households and businesses across the four communities will take part in the day-long event, which offers everything from antiques and collectibles to furniture, clothing, and one-of-a-kind finds. Businesses are also encouraged to hold sidewalk sales.
Online maps and sale listings will be available beginning Friday, July 31, at www.villageofnewarkny.gov. Hard copies will be distributed the day of the event at two locations: the Newark Welcome Center (199 Van Buren Street) and the Lyons Farmer’s Market.
Residents and businesses in participating communities can register for the free sale map until noon on July 30 by contacting their local coordinators:
