A Fayette woman was arrested Tuesday for driving while intoxicated following a dispute with her former boyfriend, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Sarah Ford, 40, was taken into custody after an investigation determined she had been operating a vehicle while impaired. A chemical breath test later showed a blood alcohol content of 0.15%, nearly twice the legal limit.
The incident occurred on June 25, and Ford was transported to the Law Enforcement Center before being issued appearance tickets. She is scheduled to answer the charge in Fayette Town Court at a later date.
New York State Park Police assisted at the scene.
