The “Movement and Murals” series will conclude June 22 at the Clara Barton Mural in Dansville, according to the Hornell Evening Tribune. The free event features a dance workshop at 5 p.m. and a community performance at 6:30, open to all ages and experience levels.
Led by local dancer Matt McClure, the program blends improvisational movement, art, and writing to explore how murals can inspire physical expression and community connection. Previous workshops were held in Nunda and Geneseo.
The finale highlights Dansville’s mural honoring Clara Barton, who founded the nation’s first Red Cross chapter there in 1881. Participants are encouraged to attend the workshop to join the group choreography.
