The 29th annual Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America has wrapped up its latest trek with a resounding success, raising over $1.4 million for Victory Junction, a North Carolina camp for children with chronic medical conditions.
Led by former NASCAR driver and current racing analyst Kyle Petty, the Ride spanned more than 1,400 miles from Traverse City, Michigan to Hot Springs, Virginia, with 125 motorcycles crossing seven states between May 3–9.
“This year’s theme was the ‘Tour of Wonders,’ and we hit some incredible wonders along the way,” Petty said. “From scenic lakes to Niagara Falls and the mountains of Virginia, the natural backdrop was breathtaking. What makes the Ride so special is not just the places we visit, but the people—our riders, the fans, and the kids we help.”
The route included stops at American landmarks such as the Henry Ford Museum, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Corning Museum of Glass, and Watkins Glen International. Riders were met with warm welcomes and fan support at every stop, with donations pouring in as part of the Ride’s “Small Change. Big Impact.” initiative.
Since the Ride began in 1995, it has raised more than $23 million for Victory Junction and other children’s charities, helping provide more than 136,000 life-changing camp experiences—free of charge—for children and their families.
This year’s Ride was supported by long-time sponsors including Coca-Cola, Harley-Davidson, WinCraft Racing, Blue-Emu, and Goody’s. Celebrity riders included Richard Petty, Herschel Walker, Kenny Wallace, Max Papis, and Bill Davidson of Harley-Davidson fame.
