A man was taken into custody late Wednesday night in Waterloo on a bench warrant connected to drug possession charges.
The Waterloo Police Department identified the suspect as 51-year-old Pablo L. Soto-Burgos of Farmington, NY. Authorities said he was arrested around 10:03 p.m. on May 29 after failing to appear in court on prior charges.
According to police, the warrant was issued by the Town of Waterloo Court. Soto-Burgos had originally been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree.
Following the arrest, Soto-Burgos was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
