Emergency crews responded early Tuesday morning to a vehicle fire at a home in Phelps, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they were called to 17 North Newark Street around 1:11 a.m. on May 6, 2025, where a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country was fully engulfed in flames in the driveway.
The Phelps Fire Department extinguished the fire, which resulted in a total loss of the vehicle. No other property was damaged, and no one was inside the vehicle at the time.
Investigators determined the fire was caused by an electrical issue and found nothing suspicious about the incident.
