Clifton Springs man convicted in fatal stabbing

A Monroe County jury has found a Clifton Springs man guilty of murder in a 2024 stabbing, according to 13WHAM. Mark Burdick, 54, was convicted of second-degree murder for killing Myron Fair during an argument inside a vehicle in Rochester.

Prosecutors described the act as deliberate and brutal, rejecting any claim of panic. Police quickly identified and arrested Burdick after the attack.

Burdick is scheduled to be sentenced on August 26.
