Seneca County water-sewer board begins groundwork

The newly formed Seneca County Water-Sewer Authority has held two meetings since its February launch, laying the foundation for future infrastructure planning and regional development.

At its second session, the board received legal guidance on compliance and reviewed steps needed ahead of its next meeting on May 22. Presentations by MRB Group covered operational best practices and a study of the county’s current water and sewer capacity, drawing from case studies in neighboring counties.

Led by Chair Robert Carroll, the board aims to modernize utilities while supporting long-term economic growth. Meetings remain open to the public.
