The Town of Ulysses is now accepting community funding requests for 2025, offering grants up to $5,000 to support local service organizations, according to Tompkins Weekly. Applications are due by 8 a.m. on Aug. 8.
Now in its fifth year, the program has funded senior services, arts, recreation, and more. Deputy Supervisor Teressa Naylor said the town’s goal is to support groups improving residents’ quality of life, especially those who can’t operate without financial assistance.
Last year, $47,207 was distributed among 16 groups. New applicants are encouraged, with awards expected next spring following fall budget reviews.
