A Geneva man is facing a felony charge after allegedly failing to report his address change as required by New York State’s sex offender registration laws.
On April 22, officers from the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Tyler A. Ross, 29, for not registering his current address. Authorities said Ross previously lived in Seneca Falls but moved to Geneva without notifying officials.
According to investigators, the failure to report the address change persisted for an extended period. Due to a prior conviction for a similar offense, Ross was charged with Failure to Register Address – Previous Conviction, a Class D felony under New York State law.
After being taken into custody, Ross was processed and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
