Justin Fries has been selected as the next principal of Lyons High School, pending school board approval. Fries currently serves as middle school principal at Clyde-Savannah and previously held multiple roles within the Lyons district.
With over a decade of experience and deep community ties, Fries is known for his student-centered leadership and commitment to academic excellence. He’s set to begin after spring break, replacing Heather Randall, who now focuses on strengthening the district’s science programs.
Superintendent Matt Barr, currently acting principal, praised Fries’ return as a reflection of the district’s core values and dedication to student success.
