A domestic dispute turned violent in the Town of Walworth, leading to the arrest of a 44-year-old man.
Ronald F. Bishop of Naples was taken into custody after deputies responded to the incident around 5:49 a.m., according to the Wayne County Office of the Sheriff.
Deputies say Bishop physically assaulted the victim during the altercation, placing his hands on the victim’s neck and applying pressure. He was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment in the second degree.
Bishop was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for CAP arraignment. Authorities requested an order of protection for the victim. Bishop is scheduled to appear in Walworth Town Court for further proceedings.
