RBTL announces blockbuster 2025-2026 Broadway season in Rochester

The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) and Albert Nocciolino have unveiled an electrifying lineup for the 2025-2026 M&T Bank Broadway Season at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre, featuring a mix of brand-new productions and returning fan favorites.

The highly anticipated season includes a seven-show package with five Rochester debuts: CLUE, & Juliet, Kimberly Akimbo, A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, and Suffs. Returning hits Wicked and Spamalot will also grace the stage, while Hamilton has been announced as a subscription add-on, making its return for a multi-week engagement.

Albert Nocciolino, longtime RBTL partner and presenter, emphasized the significance of this season for both theatergoers and the local arts community. “It is always an honor to bring the best of Broadway to Rochester audiences, including both new and classic shows,” Nocciolino said. “Not only does it give patrons the opportunity to experience Broadway right here in their own community, but it also exposes the City of Rochester, and all it has to give, to touring professionals.”

One of the season’s highlights is CLUE, which will arrive early for technical rehearsals at the West Herr Performing Arts Center before its Rochester debut in October 2025. The play, based on the classic board game and 1985 film, promises a night of mystery and laughter as six guests race to solve a murder.

The lineup also features & Juliet, a fresh take on Shakespeare’s tragic heroine, set to a soundtrack of pop hits, and Kimberly Akimbo, the critically acclaimed Tony Award-winning musical about a teenager navigating family dysfunction, a genetic condition, and a brush with the law.

The beloved Spamalot makes its return in January 2026, bringing Monty Python’s absurd humor and classic tunes back to the Rochester stage, followed by Wicked, which will run for two weeks in February and March.

Rounding out the season are A Beautiful Noise, the story of Neil Diamond’s rise to superstardom, and Suffs, a Tony-winning musical about the suffragist movement that continues to resonate today.

For those eager to relive the revolutionary magic of Hamilton, the blockbuster musical will run from November 18-30, 2025, as an optional subscription add-on.

Season ticket packages are available now for both renewing and new subscribers at RBTL.org and the Auditorium Box Office, with individual show tickets to be released at a later date.
