A Naples woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly making repeated threats against law enforcement and their family members.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, Laura M. Dicampli, 37, of 995 Italy Valley Road, was taken into custody on charges of aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor, and making a terroristic threat, a Class D felony.
Authorities say Dicampli had been calling the Yates County 911 center multiple times a day over the course of several months without a legitimate purpose. The situation escalated when she allegedly made direct threats against law enforcement personnel and their families, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.
Dicampli was located by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to Yates County deputies. She is being held pending her CAP arraignment.
