Savannah man arrested for felony DWI in Waterloo

A Savannah man was arrested early Sunday morning for felony driving while intoxicated and multiple traffic offenses following a stop for speeding, according to the Waterloo Police Department.

Officers stopped 39-year-old Jeremy L. Mills at approximately 12:11 a.m. on March 2 after he was observed speeding. During the investigation, police determined that Mills was intoxicated, with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.09%.

Further checks revealed that Mills had a revoked driver’s license and a prior DWI conviction, elevating his charges to felonies. He was charged with felony DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree.

Mills was also issued uniform traffic tickets for speeding and operating a vehicle with an open container of alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
