Rochester man arrested on burglary, larceny charges from 2021 incident

A Rochester man was arrested on an outstanding warrant stemming from a 2021 burglary in Wayne County, the Sheriff’s Office announced.

Deputies took 45-year-old Yong D. Wolfer, of Flower City Park, into custody on February 20 at 5:02 p.m. He faces charges of third-degree burglary and petit larceny.

The charges relate to an incident that occurred on November 28, 2021, in the Town of Macedon. Following an investigation, authorities issued a warrant for Wolfer’s arrest.

Wolfer was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was processed and scheduled for arraignment at 7 p.m. during the CAP proceedings​.
