A Naples man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after Yates County deputies discovered his vehicle in a ditch on Upper Hill Road in the Town of Middlesex on Friday night.
Ronald M. Hey, 73, was taken into custody after deputies arrived at the scene around 8:58 p.m. and conducted a series of standardized field sobriety tests. He was later transported to the Yates County Jail for a chemical test.
Hey has been charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher, driving while intoxicated, and moving from a lane unsafely. He was released on tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Middlesex Court at a later date.
