ORANGE GAME DAY: Syracuse returns home to face No. 2 Duke (preview)

Fresh off a road victory in California, Syracuse (10-12, 4-7 ACC) returns home to host No. 2 Duke (19-2, 11-0 ACC) at the JMA Wireless Dome tonight, with tipoff set for 7 p.m.

The Orange snapped a three-game skid and secured a 75-66 win over California on Saturday, fueled by Lucas Taylor’s season-high 19 points and J.J. Starling’s 18-point performance. The Blue Devils enter as the ACC’s top team behind the stellar play of freshmen Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel, who combined for 43 points in Duke’s most recent 87-70 victory over North Carolina.

Syracuse will need a complete effort to take down the Blue Devils, who hold a 15-game win streak and a 16-6 all-time advantage in the series. The Orange’s last home win against Duke came in 2017 on a buzzer-beater by John Gillon.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2, featuring play-by-play commentary from Kevin Brown and analysis from Jay Wiliams.
